Visitor's Information .: Crossing the Border |
The
purpose of the Amigo Card program is to help tourism in Matamoros. Not
only does It give the Matamoros tourist a great tool to plan their international
vacation and receive special treatment but the money made from the Amigo
Card program is used to keep the city clean, have better security, maintain
the tourist signs, and fund a recreation center for the homeless kids.
